What makes a suburb? Why do we feel the way we do (tense, anxious, aimless) when walking through their streets? This book takes urban planning ideas and uses them to look at suburbs - specifically the Elfrida neighbourhood in Hamilton and the controversy surrounding its proposed expansion onto surrounding farmland.
